I graduated from St Georges university, Grenada in 2007 (where I met my wife Claire) after my undergraduate degree at Kings College London. I have worked at the practice since graduating and enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine/surgery of both large and small animals, nowadays I do spend more time helping to manage the practice. What time I have I spend with my wife, young sons Ethan and Henry and Joseph.  My main passion is travelling which I am fortunate to have done many times with Claire and something we intend on continuing.

I joined the practice in Feb 2015 as a new graduate. I am a mixed animal veterinary surgeon with a large animal bias, particularly dairy cattle. I grew up on a local dairy farm but due to the current state of the industry, the dairy cows have been sold and replaced with a pedigree beef shorthorn herd.  My main passion is improving cattle herd health and disease surveillance. I am a BCVA Accredited Johne’s Veterinary Adviser. I have two dogs called Sandy and Mary (rescued from the NAWT) and two black cats called Lenny and Henry. When I am not working at the vets i am regularly found at the farm, where there is always something to be done. I enjoy walking my dogs on the beach, playing badminton, horse riding and socializing with friends

I joined the team after graduating from Liverpool in the summer of 2016. As a student, after enjoying all aspects of large and small animal surgery, the exciting variety of mixed practice was always a big draw. After having some great holidays in Cornwall and Hayle, the opportunity to live, work, and move here from Nottinghamshire was too big of an opportunity too miss! In my spare time you’ll find me cycling, exploring the beautiful coastline and scenery, or having a dip in the sea, as well as playing sports such as football, squash, and badminton.

I joined Animal Vets in July 2016 after graduating from the University of Edinburgh. I have wanted to be a mixed animal vet for as long as I can remember, as I love working with such a variety of species, and meeting a broad range of people along the way. I have very fond memories of Cornwall growing up, and I feel very lucky to now be working and living here. In my spare time I love playing netball, exploring new places and being with my friends, family and animals.
