Dr Patrick McCotter – DVM MVB MRCVS

DIRECTOR AND RETIRED VETERINARY SURGEON - I've been a vet since 1974 and still feel I have not done a day's work! When I am not at the clinic I am at my farm looking after my cattle.

Dr Jonathan McCotter- DVM MRCVS

DIRECTOR AND VETERINARY SURGEON - I graduated from St Georges university, Grenada in 2007, where I met my wife Claire. I now spend much of my time helping to manage the practice but still get to enjoy meeting our lovely clients and pets as often as I can.

Dr Claire McCotter – DVM MRCVS

VETERINARY SURGEON - I love working at Animal Vets and have a particular interest in small animal medicine, especially ultrasonography. Outside of work I’m always busy looking after my 3 children - and my husband, Jonathan!

Dr Cormac Kiely DVM MRCVS

VETERINARY SURGEON - Originally from Co. Cork in Ireland, I graduated from The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, Hungary in early 2024 and joined the team at Animal Vets shortly afterwards. I have a wide range of special interests including dermatology, surgery and cardiology. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the beautiful Cornish coastline with my future wife Joanne and rescue dog Dotty.

HEAD VETERINARY NURSE - As the Head Nurse at Animal Vets I have a wide range of responsibilities and enjoy the variety of my work. In my spare time I love spending time with my family and, of course, holidays in the sun!

RECEPTIONIST - I joined the team in Hayle in September 2014 as a receptionist. I have one rabbit called harry and in my spare time I enjoy gig rowing, socialising with friends and family.
